COMPARING SPORT PEOPLE!!!

Hi guys!!!

Here you are a new project using the comparison of adjectives. Just follow the instructions and enjoy this project that is going to be INDIVIDUAL.

1. Choose a sport and two important people involved in it.

2. Design a presentation with at least 8 slides. No matter what format you use.

3. In your presentation, you must include a brief biography of the two sport men or women you have selected, and make comparisons in terms of the sport they are training and practising.

4. Be creative and try to do it your best.

5. The presentations start on Monday 4th December.

OUR LAST PROJECT: MY FUTURE!!!

Hi everyone!!

These last words are for you to plan your last project of the year: MY FUTURE.

I invite you to think about yourself in 20 years....Imagine, how your life will be when you are 25 years old.

Take into consideration different aspects of your life such as proffesion, personal life, leisure time, etc... You can imagine as much as you want.

Collect pictures that illustrates, the rest of the class, all these aspects about your life in a coming future.

You can use the format you want to show your classmates, I mean, prezi, powerpoint, video presentation. Please, do not write sentences on the slides, just a title is allowed.

Try to be natural and fluent when you speak and use future tenses. If you bear in mind all these aspects you will succeed at your final mark.

By this time, you should have read the obligatory book for this year titled "THE LOST WORLD" shouldn´t you???
In order to know if you have read it or not you must elaborate a brief and precise essay with the following stuff:

1-A glossary with the expressions you have learnt in the story.
2-A summary of the story.
3-Your opinion about the book
And finally,
4-You should invent another ending for the book.

This is an individual work and if you copy from your classmates you will be penalized at your final mark.

LET´S TRAVEL AROUND EUROPE!!!

Hi everyone!!!


Let´s face our next project: OUR INTERRAIL EXPERIENCE.!!!

For this project we are going to be divided in groups of six people.

Here you are some hints to prepare your trip around Europe with your friends, by train:


Plan your route.: Choose the places to visit in a map. Try to be reasonable. Remember you are travelling by train and your route has to be as real as possible. To help you in this task you can use some pages such as: www.routeperfect.com/Europe-Travel/   www.interrail.eu/plan-your-trip

Design a leaflet of your trip: When you have everything clear you should design a leaflet,
that contains the following information: Dates, Places you are going to visit, Stays, Activities,
Equipment. Deadline for this activity: 9th February

Last part of the project will be to record your travel using a Khroma programme.
Our special editor will be Fernando Rubio, we will follow his instructions...but as a group, you should save images of the cities you are visiting to use them in your video. Deadline: 27th March.

A new topic is coming...an amazing one...it is TRAVELLING. I strongly believe that this is one of the best ways of learning most in your life....I invite you all to travel around the world..no matter where you go , no matter with whom...but go!! Travelling implies many things such as knowing other cultures, manners, opening your mind towards what is different, meeting people and so forth...
