MY FIRST TRIP BUDGET!!!

We continue designing our travel blog. Once you have written your welcome entry, now, we are going to focus on OUR FIRST TRIP BUDGET.

To elaborate this budget, you should consider the following items:

MEANS OF TRANSPORT you are going to use
ACCOMODATION (hotel, bungalow, airbnb, youth hostel, camping...)
MEALS (restaurants, sandwiches...)

All your budget must be real. You should take decisions about it and you must bear in mind the type of trip you want to live...low cost trip, luxury trip, backpack trip....

OUR TRAVEL BLOG...OUR NEW PROJECT

Hi guys!!!

We start our term with an interesting topic: TRAVELLING. So the first project is going to be related to this issue.

You are going to design a TRAVEL BLOG. To elaborate this project, you should follow these steps:

1. At the computing room we will open a blog account and you have to name your blog.
2. You are going to share with other people the trip of your dreams, so think about the place you would like to visit and search on the net as much information as you can.
3. You are going to upload several entries at your blog: one of them about the economical information of your trip, that´s to say, your trip´s budget, other about the most important places to visit, other about accomodation and the last one about some anecdotes you lived at your trip. All entries should be accompanied by pictures.

At this project, I will take into consideration, writing, details. creativity and originality. This project deadline would be 10th March.

DESCRIBING A PIECE OF ART

Hi everybody!!!

Let´s try a tiny project about art. To develop this activity, please, follow these guidelines:

1. Search on the Internet a piece of art you like.
2. Write a brief description of it in three paragraphs according to what we will see in class at your student´s book.
3. Design a presentation to introduce your selected piece of art to your classmates. At this presentation you should talk about the artist who creates that piece of art, the topic, the main characteristics and your opinion.

Some people share the opinion that everything in our life is ART. It depends on how you look at things...that you consider art to the most insignificant details and items in your daily activities.

So, to break the ice with this unit...I want you to make a comment about how important art is in your life. You must give me reasons to your answer.

FIRST PROJECT: THE MOST STRANGE AND ORIGINAL RESTAURANT YOU´VE EVER SEEN IN YOUR LIFE

Hi guys!!!

This is your first project. I keep my fingers crossed and I hope you enjoy it.

This project is going to be a pair project ( 2 people per group).

To elaborate this project properly, follow these guidelines:

1.    Make a research on the Internet about restaurants around the world and focus on weird, uncommon aspects of them, the ones that are shocking to you.

2.    Fill in a form with several details:  how it is called, where it is, type of food it is offered. Take a picture of it and design a poster. 

3.    Design a Powerpoint Presentation or video only with pictures and explain to your classmates all the characteristics of the restaurant you have chosen. For this presentation you should take into consideration the following steps:

NO WORDS ARE ALLOWED. MINIMUM SLIDES: 8, MAXIMUM 10.

LAST PROJECT: YOUR LIFE IN 20 YEARS

Dear all,

Here we are, at the end of our academic course....time flies!!! And it will be a pleasure to give you the last guidelines for our final project.

This project will be INDIVIDUAL

It is titled: YOUR LIFE IN 20 YEARS.

You should design a presentation dealing with different aspects of your life in the future:

How you imagine your life in terms of : FAMILY, JOB, HOBBIES.

Creativity and imagination will be taken into consideration.

As you usual, you can only write titles at your slides or video. WRITTEN TEXT IS NOT ALLOWED.

You can use any type of format for your presentation.
