PROJECT UNIT 2: DROOLING ART!!!!

Hi guys!!!

An interesting project is coming!!! It is related to ART. I am aware you, all, are not keen on it but let me suprise us.

You are going to work with different styles of Art in groups. 

The guidelines for this project are the following:

1) You will be given a work of art.

2) You will surf on The Internet and you will flip through the work of art´s meaning...getting as much information as you can.

3) Finally, you will design a leaflet explaining your work of art to be exhibited at your classroom. To elaborate the leaflet you should take into consideration these items:

• AUTHOR
• HISTORY
• SYMBOLS
• STYLE OR GENDER
• TOPIC
• YOUR OPINION AS A GROUP.

BREAKING NEWS: TRUMP WON THE AMERICAN ELECTIONS!!!

Hi everybody!!!

Did you follow last TV news about American  Elections. Finally, Trump won and we would like to live this result with some hope and credibility... however, we feel some fear to know how Trump´s background can influence decisions and how these decisions can be taken in a crazy way....having global consequences. Good luck Americans, good luck world!!!!

Anyway, I would like to know your own opinion about these results. Probably you do not like politics but in any aspect of our life we are influenced by it...so what is your point of view about this situation. Let us know... I will be more than happy to discuss these aspects with you in class. Do not forget watching this video with different opinions about the future coming from Trump and Clinton supporters.

HALLOWEEN EXHIBITION AND PRESENTATIONS!!!

Here you are final results of your Halloween exhibition. Well done!!! Creativity, imagination and  a great effort were put in practice in the design of your pumpkin. Happy as well with your videos and powerpoint presentations of the process while making the pumpkin. Go on this way!!! Did you enjoy the activity?? 1. You should face the audience.

2. Body Language is also important.

3. You can use a guideline as a helpful tool but don´t read it while presenting.

4. Try to improve your pronunciation.

5. Use easy expression, those you know and manage better.

6. Be as natural as you can.

CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN!!!

A CONTEST PROJECT : MY ORIGINAL AND THEMATIC PUMPKIN

Hi guys! Our Halloween project is coming! Click on the link bellow and follow the instructions to create your JACK O'LANTERN ; we'll have an exhibition at school  with all your creations and you and your group could be the champions of this Halloween exhibition.

These are your guidelines:

·                     Make three or four-student groups.

·                     Organise your team and take pictures during the process of emptying, you can also have a recording.

·                     Bring the staff  and  posssible decorations to school  to customize the pumpkins with your team.

·                     Be creative!!!

·                     The English teachers will let you know the date to bring them.

·                     Make a power point presentation with all the pictures you got and explain the process.

·                     Deadline: 26th October

OUR FIRST PROJECT:THE MOST STRANGE FOOD I´VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE

Hi guys!!!

This is your first project. I keep my fingers crossed and I hope you enjoy it.

This project is going to be a group project ( 3-4 people per group).

To elaborate this project properly, follow these guidelines:

1.    Make a research on the Internet about food around the world and focus on weird, uncommon food, the one that is shocking to you.

2.    Fill in a form with several details:  how it is called, ingredients, when and how it is eaten. Take a picture of it.

3.    Design a Powerpoint Presentation only with pictures and explain to your classmates all the characteristics of the food you have chosen. For this presentation you should take into consideration the following steps:

ALL MEMBERS IN YOUR GROUP SHOULD TALK AND PRESENT AT LEAST TWO SLIDES.

NO WORDS ARE ALLOWED.

MINIMUM SLIDES: 8, MAXIMUM 10.
